CYBER UNDER SIEGE

Welcome to Cyber Under Siege, an outlet of Siege Technologies for informal thoughts on all sorts of issues and topics relating to cyber-security, research and development, software and hardware, technology, and more, on a monthly basis.  Siege is a company full of folks with a wide variety of skills and interests, and the fusion of perspectives produces outstanding results for our customers and the cyber-community alike. We’re happy to have this venue as another way to share our thoughts and continue engaging with our community!

A note from Dr. Joshua Taylor

I’m Dr. Joshua Taylor, your host, and Interim Chief Scientist at Siege. I joined Siege in 2011, where I’ve been in software engineering, cyber-quantification and experimentation, business development, and internal R&D. Over the past twenty years, I’ve been through an odyssey of computer science, logic-based and symbolic artificial intelligence, Semantic Web technology (RDF, OWL, SWRL, SPARQL), programming language development, category theory, software interoperability, with tangents into cognitive science, gardening, reverse engineering, and pipe organs along the way. Along with the rest of Siege, we hope this proves an interesting and informal outlet for what we’re up to. Enjoy!
