Candidate Description

Siege Technologies, LLC is seeking a Knowledge Representation Engineer comfortable working in data and knowledge transformation pipelines, with ability to query, convert, and publish data in standard popular formats (e.g., JSON, CSV, relational databases, Turtle). We are working closely with end customers to transform the landscape of the management of digital resources and workflows across the defense sector. A successful candidate will be responsible for research and development in this area, including developing original implementation techniques, guiding the techniques through completion, and applying them to the needs of the end customer. Selected applicant will join Siege’s team in revolutionizing data sharing and decision making in support of national interests.

Essential Functions

• Working experience in Semantic Web representation formats, including Resource Description Framework (RDF), RDF Schema (RDFS) Web Ontology Language (OWL), as well as associated technologies (e.g., SPARQL, Protege, SWRL).

Education

Qualified applicants for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). Exceptional or uniquely qualified candidates will be considered independent of formal experience.
